Chin 1010 Elementary Chinese

     A study of the basic elements of the Chinese language for                beginning learners

Chin 1020 Elementary Chinese

     A study of the basic elements of the Chinese language for                beginning learners, as a continuation of 1010

Chin 2010 Intermediate Chinese

     A study of the Chinese language at the intermediate level, in          which learners build their vocabulary and learn grammar              structures

Chin 2020 Intermediate Chinese

     A study of the Chinese language at the intermediate level, in          which learners build their vocabulary and learn grammar              structures, as a continuation of 2010

Chin 3050 Chinese Conversation & Composition I

     This class was a more in-depth language class with a focus on         improving speaking and writing abilities.

CHIN 4120 Studies in the Chinese Language II

     This class approached language learning through units                     focused on various cultural topics with source                                  material/videos in the target language.

History:

HIST 3300 History of Modern China

     This course provided a survey of modern day China's history         from the end of the dynastic period.

Culture/Religion:

REL 3140 Buddhism in China

      This religion course provided students with the philosophical       background of Buddhism and the history of its rise in China.

CHIN 4010 Pre-Modern Chinese Literature

      Throughout this class, students read literary works from the         pre-modern period in China, ranging from short stories                 to poems to ghost stories.

CHIN 4990 Selected Topics in Chinese Culture (Film Class)

      Students watch a selection of films that show parts of Chinese       culture and analyze them.

CHIN 3120 Philosophy in Ancient China

      A study of major philosophers in Ancient China, including             Confucius, Mencius, and Mo Tzu.

CHIN 3130 Philosophy in Modern China

     A study of major philosophers and sociopolitical movements        that shaped modern China.

SPAN 1010/1020 Elementary Spanish (Exemption Credit)

     A study of the basic elements of the Spanish language for                beginning learners (exemption credit granted after placement      test)

SPAN 2010 Honors Intermediate Spanish

    Facilitates further development of students' Spanish                       vocabulary and grammar knowledge (extra assignments                 completed for the Honors section)

SPAN 2020 Honors Intermediate Spanish

    Facilitates further development of students' Spanish                       vocabulary and grammar knowledge (extra assignments                 completed for the Honors section)

SPAN 3020 Intermediate Spanish Grammar & Composition

    Class with specific emphasis on grammar and writing                     development in Spanish.

SPAN 3050 Intermediate Spanish Conversation/Composition I (Córdoba)

     Class with specific emphasis on speaking and writing                       development in Spanish. Completed abroad in Argentina

SPAN 3160 Spanish for International Business I (Córdoba)

     A Spanish language class that focuses on developing the                  vocabulary necessary for discussing business, particularly in          an international context. Completed abroad in Argentina

SPAN 4160 Spanish for International Trade II (Córdoba)

     A Spanish language class that focuses on developing the                  vocabulary necessary for discussing business, particularly in          an international context. Completed abroad in Argentina

SPAN 4090 Comprehensive Writing in Spanish (Córdoba)

     A class focused primarily on developing stronger writing                 skills in the target language. Completed abroad in Argentina

SPAN 4350 Contemporary Hispanic Culture (Córdoba)

     A class on modern Latin American history. Completed abroad      in Argentina.

Culture:

SPAN 4060 Narrative Fiction (Córdoba)

     A survey of Spanish literature in the fictional genre.                          Completed abroad in Argentina.

SPAN 4050 International Trade Film & Literature

     Students watch/read films and literary works in Spanish                pertaining to international trade and then analyze the content.

SPAN 4030 Spanish American Women Writers

     Students read short stories by female authors and watch films      written and directed by women in the Spanish language and          then analyze the content.

     A course on business related math and its applications

MATH 2070 Business Calculus II

     A course on business related math and its applications

COMM 1500 Intro to Human Communication

     This course teaches students the ins-and-outs of                                communication and helps them to develop their public                    speaking skills. Includes a Speech Lab

ACCT 2020 Managerial Accounting Concepts

     An explanation of how to perform managerial accounting              tasks and their practical application.

LIT 1270 Intro to Language & International Trade

     An introduction to the Language & International Trade major      at Clemson.

ECON 2110 Principles of Microeconomics Honors

     The basics of microeconomics, its importance, and its use.

MGT 2010 Principles of Management

     Teaches students the importance of strong managerial skills          and how skilled leaders can benefit a company.

LIT 4000 Language & International Trade Internship (In the Spanish language, Córdoba)

     An internship completed abroad in Argentina in the Spanish        language with a company that deals in international trade

ENGL 3040 Business Writing

     This course teaches students to write professional documents        and correspondence to prepare them for work within a                    business context. 

ECON 2120 Principles of Macroeconomics

     This class introduces students to the field of macroeconomics.

MKT 3010 Principles of Marketing (Honors Contract Course)

    This course introduces students to Marketing and emphasizes       the importance of the 4P's. It was completed with extra                   assignments as an Honors course.

ECON 3150 Intermediate Macroeconomics Honors
     This is an honors course that teaches the application of                  macroeconomics at a higher level than the introductory                  course.

MKT 3020 Consumer Behavior

     As a marketing course, consumer behavior teaches students to      anticipate the preferences, demands, and actions of                          customers.

LANG 3710 Language and Culture (Anthropological Linguistics)

     This course allows students to think critically about how                 language and culture influence each other.

MGT 4230 International Business Management

     An in-depth look at how managerial systems operate in                  a globalized business world

MKT 4270 International Marketing

     An in-depth look at how marketers operate in globalized              business world

     A more detailed look at microeconomic systems, with students      learning key equations and graphs.
